The brief
Railway Sleeper Hostel needed more than a website. It needed an identity.
The project started with a blank canvas, creating a brand that captured the character of a unique hostel in the heart of Castlerock before bringing that identity to life across every customer touchpoint. From branding and photography to video and web design, the goal was to build a complete digital presence that felt as memorable as the stay itself.
The challenge
Accommodation businesses are competing long before someone books a room.
The challenge was to create a distinctive brand that stood out in a crowded market while building a website that inspired confidence, showcased the property, and made it easy for visitors to plan their stay.
Every part of the project needed to work together. The branding had to feel authentic. The visuals had to tell the story. The website had to convert interest into bookings.
What we built
A complete brand identity
We created a bespoke visual identity inspired by the building, its railway heritage, and its location on the Causeway Coast.
From the logo through to typography, colour palette, and supporting assets, every element was designed to create a recognisable and memorable brand. Explore our branding services to see how we build brands that last.
Photography and video that tells a story
Professional photography and promotional video were produced to showcase the hostel, its character, and the surrounding area.
Rather than relying on stock imagery, we created a genuine visual story that gives potential guests an authentic first impression before they even arrive.
Website design in Framer
We designed and developed a fully responsive website in Framer that combines speed with simplicity.
Visitors can quickly explore the accommodation, discover the local area, and find everything they need from any device. Learn more about our website design services.
Content and search strategy
Every page of the website was written from scratch.
The copy was structured for both people and search engines, with carefully written metadata, semantic page structure, and FAQs helping improve visibility across Google and AI-powered search platforms.
This approach forms part of our SEO & AEO strategy, ensuring websites are built to be discovered as well as enjoyed.
The look
The visual identity combines heritage with modern simplicity.
Warm, natural colours, clean typography, and authentic imagery create a welcoming experience that reflects both the building and its surroundings. Every element works together to make the brand feel established, approachable, and memorable from the very first visit.
The outcome
Railway Sleeper Hostel launched with a complete brand rather than just a new website.
Branding, photography, video, content, and web design all work together to create a consistent experience across every customer touchpoint. The result is a digital presence that not only looks the part but gives the business a strong foundation for future marketing, search visibility, and continued growth.
